Hi, I’m Tripp. I learned to fly fish at the Summit Ponds in Cordillera through local fly fishing guide clinics, and ever since then I’ve loved being on the water. I tie my own flies and enjoy learning everything about the sport, from casting and reading rivers to understanding trout behavior.
Last summer, I attended a two-week fly fishing and wilderness camp in Yellowstone National Park through Camp Lillard, where I learned river reading, knot tying, outdoor survival skills, and conservation practices.
I’m currently a student at Vail Mountain School, Class of 2029. Outside of fly fishing, I love playing lacrosse, sailing, and skiing. I’m excited to share my passion for fly fishing and help other kids build confidence and have fun outdoors.
